BMW Navigator VI 2021

With the Navigator VI, it's not just touring fans who get their money's worth. The system makes route planning child's play and offers numerous additional functions that turn every tour into an experience. The five-inch touchscreen is waterproof, easy to read even in direct sunlight and provides the necessary overview.

Operation and integration into the motorbike:

• Easy and quick installation of the Navigator VI in the vehicle-specific holder (SA "Navigation preparation")
• Maximum integration into the motorbike through the connection of the Navigator VI to the on-board network, which is only given in conjunction with the optional equipment "Navigation preparation". This enables convenient operation via the Multi-Controller and ensures data exchange between the motorbike and the Navigator for use of the "My Motorcycle" function. Via "My motorbike", e.g. status information of the motorbike as well as tour information such as distance, speed or lean angle are recorded.
• Simple and intuitive operation of the Navigator VI via Multi-Controller (only in conjunction with SA "Navigation preparation"
• For vehicles without SA 272 navigation preparation, a set (77 52 8 504 072) with enclosed 4-button mount cradle and pre-installed Europe map data can be ordered. (Same set with 4-button mount cradle is available with pre-installed North America data).

• Free lifetime map updates (for devices with pre-installed map data)
• The Navigator VI is offered with pre-installed ECE map data of the following region. Europe: Mostly complete coverage (with the exception of Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Belarus and Ukraine; here only main roads or most urban areas)
• Further map material from Garmin: For the BMW Motorrad Navigator VI, the map material can generally be used that is also offered by Garmin on microSD card.

• Route planning and guidance, navigation announcements:

• Comfortable creation of routes, waypoints and tracks on the computer
• Note: Some routing options (e.g. "Curvy Roads", "Avoid Federal Roads") are only available with the navigator and not on the computer
• Advanced route planning and guidance: New trip technology with via and shaping points enables the creation of longer and more detailed motorbike trips. Shaping points are used to define the route without being announced as an intermediate destination during navigation.
• Many routing options can be selected and combined: "Curvy roads", "Avoid motorways" and/or "National roads", "Round trip", etc.
• Routing option "Curvy Roads" with avoidance of urban areas if possible
• Unique feature with unique selling point: avoidance of major federal roads possible
• Allows automatic avoidance of federal roads during route and route recalculation. In combination with the avoidance of motorways, roads suitable for motorcycling are selected even better.

The calculation algorithms of the routing options differ between Navigator V and Navigator VI (except for "shortest time" and "shortest distance"), due to which the calculated route may differ significantly from the originally transferred route.
• Music streaming from smartphone:
• Enables listening to the music stored on the smartphone via the Navigator VI
• Music playback from the smartphone is started or stopped via the Navigator VI
• . Playback of music tracks is in the order of the smartphone for Android smartphones, and playlists can also be called up for iOS smartphones
• Control of a compatible action cam directly via the navigator
• Connection with communication systems (hands-free/headset/A2DP/AVRCP/SPP profile) and connection with phones via Bluetooth is possible
