As inconspicuous as a spark plug may be, its effect on fuel consumption, willingness to start and the engine's enjoyment of performance is huge. The ignition voltage generated by the ignition coil is transmitted to the spark plugs via the spark plug cables. There, the ignition spark generated by the ignition voltage jumps over between a ceramic-insulated centre electrode and a ground electrode fixed to the fastening thread, thus starting the combustion process.

Before purchasing as well as installing spark plugs, you must always make sure that the selected spark plugs correspond exactly to the specifications and approvals from the manufacturer's operating manual!
