Pure riding - that's what the DarkNite motorbike jacket stands for. The upper part of the modern leather suit, cut in classic retro style. The hydrophobised cowhide makes the suit water-repellent, but the natural breathability of the leather is retained. Removable NPL and NP2 protectors, padded quilted inserts and more enable confident riding without the features counteracting the purist appearance.

This premium new addition to the 2017 BMW rider kit, designed for summer short-haul riding, causes a stir at first glance: The DarkNite suit, available for men and women, makes all roadster and heritage hearts beat faster with its stylish-classic rocker look.

It's a soft leather suit in retro design, but with all the modern features that no rider wants to do without today. For example, the hydrophobised cowhide from which the DarkNite suit is made is water-repellent and breathable. The state-of-the-art protective equipment does not break with the purist look, nor does the integrated smartphone pocket. Comfortable NPL protectors protect the back, shoulders and elbows

Stretch zones in the back area guarantee the best freedom of movement, padded quilted inserts on the stand-up collar and shoulders ensure first-class wearing comfort. The jacket is lined with cotton at the chest and back, with mesh lining in the sleeves. Arm cuffs score points with metal zips, and the jacket waistband can be adjusted in width via press studs. The DarkNite motorbike jacket has no fewer than six pockets: Three zipped jacket pockets and three inside pockets offer generous storage space.

A 40-centimetre connecting zip keeps the jacket and trousers together - although the DarkNite jacket also looks great worn on its own or combined with a pair of motorbike jeans from the BMW Motorrad range.
