With the AirShell jacket, you are prepared for any weather. Thanks to the windproof and waterproof, yet breathable, insert made from BMW Climate Membrane and the padded removable thermal waistcoat, this jacket can be used all year round. An airy feel for the height of summer, cosy warmth and rain protection for the colder seasons - and thanks to the neon colouring, always highly visible in road traffic.

A strong update for the lightweight AirShell motorbike jacket. Its features include a windproof, waterproof and breathable insert with BMW Climate membrane. In addition, a zipped, removable, padded thermal waistcoat is integrated. This completely new design expands its range of use enormously. Riders can use the AirShell jacket all year round because it can be optimally adapted to temperature and weather conditions: airy without insert in warm and dry weather. Only with insert when it is warm and wet. Or with insert plus thermal waistcoat when the weather conditions are unpleasantly cold and wet. The AirShell jacket's climate control is provided by large, air-permeable mesh inserts made of highly abrasion-resistant AirTex and a 3D lining integrated into the back.

Nobody will overlook the AirShell jacket in road traffic, thanks to the bright signal colour neon yellow. To ensure that this strong plus in passive safety does not fade over the years, a special process is used to produce a double-bed fabric. The lower layer of polyamide offers high abrasion resistance, while the upper layer of polyester guarantees absolute colour fastness. The luminosity of the signal colour is permanently retained.

For active safety, the AirShell jacket has NPL protectors on the back, shoulders and elbows as standard. They offer best wearing comfort with excellent protection and are removable. Two side zipped pockets, a waterproof inner pocket and a pocket in the insert offer plenty of storage space. The jacket can be combined with any trousers from the BMW Motorrad range via a connecting zip 40 centimetres long.
